Creating an appointment
On iPhone, open Appointments and tap + (or use + from Schedule). On the web, choose New → Appointment. Select the customer first, then choose one-time or recurring. Every appointment needs a customer, a date and time, and a price. Optionally assign a cleaner, add packages as line items, and write notes — "Gate code 4421, skip the guest room, dog is friendly."
Billing types
- Per Session — an invoice is generated for each completed clean. The simplest option for most homes.
- Fixed Price — one recurring invoice on a set schedule (weekly, biweekly, or monthly) regardless of session count. Great for offices and contracts: "$400/month, cleaned every Monday and Thursday" bills once a month.
- Manual — no automatic invoicing; you create invoices yourself for custom arrangements.
Session statuses
Sessions move through Scheduled → In Progress → Completed (or Skipped for cancellations). Starting a session timestamps when work began — that time-on-site record is what makes your pricing data-driven.
Completing a clean
Tap Complete to open the completion flow. You can add extra charges (inside oven, inside fridge, or any saved package), invoice notes the customer sees, internal notes only your team sees, and before-and-after photos. Then choose:
- Charge & Send Receipt — one tap charges the saved card and emails a receipt
- Send Invoice — the customer pays on their own via the Pay Now link
- Skip Invoice — for cleans you bill later or differently
Accidentally started a session? Use Reset from the session's menu to put it back to Scheduled.
Assigning staff
Set Assigned To when creating or editing an appointment. It appears on that cleaner's schedule in their color; unassigned appointments sit in a separate section so nothing falls through. Reassign anytime.
Packages
Set up your packages once (Standard Clean $140, Deep Clean $260, Move-Out $380, inside-oven add-on $35…) under More → Packages on iPhone or Settings → Packages on the web, then add them as line items — totals calculate automatically.
