Three ways to get paid
- Per-appointment auto-invoice — when enabled for eligible work, completing a clean creates the invoice and sends the payment request
- Charge a saved card — if the customer has a card on file, one tap charges it and emails a receipt
- Manual invoice — build an invoice with custom line items whenever you want (Money → New Invoice on iPhone, Invoices → New Invoice on the web)
Invoices are emailed with a Pay Now link; when a customer pays online their card is saved for future one-tap charging. Payments process through Stripe and deposit to your connected bank account.
The Money tab
- Overview — collected this month, total outstanding, the monthly trend, and "Who Owes You" (top customers by balance) with quick actions
- Action — a priority queue: overdue invoices to remind, completed cleans not yet invoiced. When it's empty, you're all caught up.
- Ledger — searchable invoices (All / Unpaid / Overdue / Paid), quotes and their status, and paid/refunded history
Invoice statuses
Invoices move through Pending → Sent → Paid, with Overdue for anything past due and Cancelled / Refunded / Partially Refunded for the exceptions. Each invoice shows an activity timeline — created, sent, reminded (automatic reminders carry an Auto badge), and paid.
Quotes
Send a quote before the work: create it from the Customers tab, add line items and optional site photos, and send it for approval. For bigger jobs — move-outs, post-construction — enable payment milestones to split the total into stages (default 50% deposit / 50% on completion; customize freely). Once accepted, Convert to Appointment creates the appointment, sets up any recurring schedule, and links everything together.
Getting paid faster
- Save cards on file — charge only when the customer has authorized card-on-file billing
- Invoice as work is completed — create and send the invoice instead of waiting for a month-end batch
- Let auto-reminders chase — overdue invoices get follow-ups without you playing collections
- Keep emails current — invoices only land if the address is right
