Cleaning job profit calculator

Estimate the full cost of a cleaning job, the customer price needed for your target margin, and the profit left at a planned quote. It runs in your browser; no account or email is required.

Use your own numbers.

The starting values are a hypothetical example, not a recommended wage or cleaning price. Include owner labor and a complete overhead allocation or the result can overstate profit.

Estimate a price and job margin

This calculator assumes each cleaner works the same number of hours. For uneven shifts, enter the total cleaner-hours as one cleaner.

A per-job share of software, insurance, equipment, admin, and marketing.
For example: parking, tolls, or fixed payment-processing costs.
Price and margin

The math

What the calculator is doing

Loaded labor = cleaner-hours × base hourly pay × (1 + additional labor-cost percentage)

Total job cost = loaded labor + supplies + travel + allocated overhead + other job costs

Price for target margin = total job cost ÷ (1 − target margin)

Profit here means the planned customer price minus only the costs you entered. It is a planning estimate before income tax and before any cost you omitted. For pricing models, worked examples, and limitations, read the complete house cleaning pricing guide.
